Dr Praveen completed his MCh. in Urology from Prestigious Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research, Kolkata. During his training, he was awarded the most sought after Fellowship by American Urological Association and Urological Society of India. He gathered his exposure in Robotic surgeries from Vattikuti Urological Institute, Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit under able guidance of none other than Dr Mani Menon & Dr James Peabody. He also visited Keck Medical Centre, USC, Los Angeles to learn the nuances of Robotic surgery from legendary Dr Inder Beer Singh Gill and his team.
Dr Praveen completed his Post Graduation in Renal Transplantation Sciences from University of Liverpool, United Kingdom.
He was also awarded the Young Urologist Fellowship by Urological Association Of Asia in 2014.
After Completing his training, he worked as Consultant in Department Of Urology & Renal Transplant, Fortis Flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital, New Delhi from 2013 To 2014.
He was selected for the post of Assistant Professor, Department Of Urology And Renal Transplant, at Institute Of Liver And Biliary Sciences, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi and worked there briefly in 2014.
Eventually, he was selected in an interview for the post of Assistant Professor – Urology (Academic Teaching Cadre) conducted by UPSC. He joined Department Of Urology at PGIMER and Dr RML Hospital, New Delhi. He worked there from 2014 to 2016 before moving to his Urology practice in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
He has to his credit a number of publications in national and international journals. He has presented scientific papers in a number of national and in International conferences as well.
He has been mentoring young Urologists and trainees in Urology training courses as he has keen interest in academics. He is also credited for pioneering Robotic surgeries at Sahara Super-speciality Hospital, Lucknow.
